Stering wheel project cars pc how to#
Tl dr, i would like to get your advises on how to set up the wheel (in and out game settings, FFB) properly for comfortable driving, or just get a look at your settings and compare it with mine. I want the wheel to be as responsive as it can be, but not overreactive, hard to explain what i mean but maybe you'll get it. I don't know, the wheel feels pretty much loose at the very beginning of turning, like first 15 degrees in left or right, and i don't like it at all. I'm also suffering a lot with brakes locking, but i think it will get better with time, with every lap on the circuit my braking points will get better and better, so it's not really an issue.+ I just want to find a perfect, well balanced setup which can be used on every track. On the other hand, with that settings, i'm suffering a lot on tracks with a lot of fast left-right handers like COTA. On SPA for example, with a Ferrari 488 GTE, i'm doing around 2:16 with default setup which is 4 seconds slower that the world record for this car, and it's annoying me pretty much. I think it suits my driving style, but not on every circuit to be honest.
I'm still pretty much new to simracing, and i have a few questions.įor the moment, i'm racing in Project Cars 2 (80+ hours on record, but still a newbie with the wheel).Īfter hours of trying different setups, i came with 540 degree rotation wheel and 100% sensitivity, also steering deadzone on 0.
